제목 Self-assembled nanoparticles based on hydrophobic modified water-soluble chitosan as a drug delivery carrier
초록 The objective of the present study was to develop a new drug carrier consisting of water-soluble chitosan (SC) with hydrophobic moiety. We found that hydrophobic moiety modified soluble chitosan (HSC) can be loaded the anticancer drug which has poor solubility in water. The particles formed the self-aggregates in an aqueous solution by hydrophobic interaction between HSC and anticancer drug. Characterization of drug-loaded HSC was analysed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, DLS and HPLC studies. These results suggest that HSC can be applied as a carrier of drug delivery.
