Preparation and Characterization of Ketoprofen-Loaded High Molecular Weight Atactic Poly(vinyl alcohol) Nanoparticles |

The nanomaterials have great attention for small and quanta size effects in the recent years. It is pivotal for preparation of materials in other to obtain excellent perperty. For this reason, various methods have been used for the preparation of nanoparticles. In this study, ketoprofen-loaded high molecular weight (HMW) atactic poly(vinyl alcohol) (a-PVA) nanoparticles were prepared by homogenizer using water-in-oil emulsion system. Morethen, dissolution test of ketoprofen-loaded HMW a-PVA nanoparticles was carried out at 36±0.5 ℃, pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution, and then, quantitative analysis of ketoprofen-loaded HMW a-PVA nanoparticles was conducted using high performance liquid chromatography. The effects of the processing parameters related to the homogenization on the size of the emulsion droplets and the release behavior of ketoprofen-loaded HMW a-PVA nanoparticles were investigated.
