The recently, researcher has revealed manifold benefits of the heteroatom doping of carbon in physicochemical properties, which led to the improved performances in electrochemical capacitance for capacitors. The heteroatoms (B, N, O, P, S etc) or functional groups (carboxyl, ether, phenol, quinine, ketone, pridinic-N, pyridone-N, etc.) on the porous carbon wall can improve the wettability, contribute pseudocapacitance, and sometimes also enlarge the potential window. As continuation of our previous studies, herein, we report the facile synthesis of phosphorus doped ordered mesoporous carbon (P-OMC). The P-OMC was found to display the best capacitor with a highest specific capacitance of 358 F/g and 322 F/g in 0.5M H2SO4 and 0.1M KOH, respectively. |
