제목 Improved open-circuit voltage of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells by the modification of TiO2 Surface
초록 Dyed TiO2 surface was treated with zinc sulfate, and the resulting electrodes were applied to the photoelectrodes of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The modification of TiO2 surface resulted in about 48mV enhancement in open-circuit voltage of DSSC, compared to that of the reference device with bare TiO2/FTO. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, dark current and open circuit voltage decay measurements revealed that incorporation of zinc sulfate on TiO2 surface led to a longer electron lifetime by the suppression of charge recombination between injected electrons and electrolytes, resulting in an increase in open circuit voltage.
