제목 Organic small molecules approaching to novel class of white organic light-emitting diodes and organic solar cells
초록 Solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic photovoltaics (OPVs) have the potential to be cost-effective electronic material sources due to their amenability to high-throughput roll-to-roll processing, earth-abundant constituents, and architectural tunability over multiple length scales. In low bandgap organic materials, especially, the transport of holes and electrons are governed by the HOMO and LUMO energy levels, which affect the efficiency of carrier injection and extraction, control the energy and electron transfer process at the interfacial layer, and determine the intrinsic photophysical properties, such as absorption and emission. In this work, a concentration-independent ultimate white-light emitting single molecule based on excited-state intramolecular proton transfer for white organic light-emitting diodes (WOLEDs) and small molecules for solution-processable OPVs will be discussed.
