제목 Synthesis and characterization of high durability ion exchange membrane by polyvinylchloride(PVC) modification
초록 Ion exchange membrane preparation technology is one of the technology that can reduce the water and air pollution. There are a lot of applications using ion exchange membrane such as electrodialysis, diffusion dialysis, capacityive deionization, redox flow battery, fuel and so on. PVC is one of a wide use and famous polymer in modern times. PVC based cation exchange membranes were prepared by its modification. It was investigated FT-IR, degree of sulfone(DS), water uptake, ion exchange capacity(IEC), electrical property and surface morphology. The value of DS, water uptake, IEC, and electrical resistance were 30.7 %, 21.2 %, 0.7 meq/g, 35.2 Ω·cm2 respectively.
