Poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) in dimethylfromamide(DMF) solutions were electrospun at 5kV to produce nano-scaled fibers. Carbon nanotubes are incorporated into the 20wt% PVDF/DMF solutions. Electrospinning was conducted for the solution with carbon nanotubes. To choose the optimum concentration of polymers for the electrospinning, we measured the viscosities and surface tensions of the PVDF solutions. The conductivities of PVDF/DMF solutions, thin films obtained from spin-coating (thickness several ㎛) and electrospun fiber mat were discussed in terms of morphology of the corresponding specimens. In addition, electrospun fiber mat have been analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and the electrospun PVDF fibers have diameter of ∼30nm. |
