제목 Targeted biodegradable polymeric micelle for doxorubicin delivery
초록 RGD or Folate has been employed as a targeting moiety of various anticancer agents to increase their cellular uptake within target cells since RGD or folate receptors are vastly overexpressed in several human tumors. In this study, a biodegradable polymer poly (D,L-lactide)-poly(ethylene glycol)-RGD or poly (D,L-lactide)-poly(ethylene glycol)-folate and MPEG-Poly(β-amino ester) were used to form mixed micelles for encapsulating doxorubicin(DOX). The mixed micelles displayed pH sensitivity which could be tuned by varying the mixing ratio of the two polymers. In particular, mixed micelles composed of 20 wt.% poly (D,L-lactide)-poly(ethylene glycol) -RGD exhibited desirable pH dependency which could be usd as drug delivery system. Micelles were quite stable from pH 7.4 to 7.2, but underwent a destabilization as pH decreased further. An increase in size and aggregation number was observed . RGD or Folate conjugated mixed polymers show higher cytotoxicity than only polymer.
