Electroactive Polymer (EAP) can be widely usedin various fields of mechanical heart, smart skin, second precision instrument, sensor/actuator,generator of individual soldier's equipment, medical robot, universe airline field, fuel cell, pump etc. including human work muscle driven by electrostatic force. In this research, we manufactured the actuatorusing EAP. EAPs were fabricated using silicone polymer and conductive carbon, CNT and graphene that have been widely studied as electrode materials having excellent electrical properties. Manufactured EAPwere confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The displacement and driving force by voltage were measured using laser displacement analyzer. And EAP's electrical impedance was measured by LCR Meter. |
