제목 | The Fabrication of Multilayer Films Using Layer-by-Layer Self-Assembly Method and Their Application |
초록 | Ultrathin polyelectrolyte (PE) multilayer films prepared by the versatile layer-by layer (LbL) assembly method have been utilized for the preparation of light-emitting diodes, electrochromic, membrane, and bioactive enzyme thin films as well as for selective area patterning and particle surface modification. Since the introduction of the LbL technique in 1991 by Decher et al. numerous polycation and polyanion pairs have been used to form multilayer films through electrostatic interactions with commonly one of the film components being a strong PE. Here, the colloidal coating for dense gold nanoshells and their adsorption mechanism is introduced and furthermore, the sensor for detection of NO (nitric oxide) which operates as a physiological messenger in the central nervous system is fabricated using gold nanoparticles. Lastly, it is reported that the new deconstructible polymeric multilayer films for drug delivery system can be prepared employing electrostatic and hydrogen bonded layers. |
