제목 Selective oxidation of hydrogen sulfide containing excess water and ammonia using VOx catalysts supported on TiO2 prepared by sol-gel method
초록 VOx supported on TiO2 catalysts have been studied for the selective oxidation of H2S to elemental sulfur and ammonium thiosulfate. This study discussed the selective catalytic oxidation of H2S in the presence of excess water and ammonia using VOx catalysts supported on TiO2 prepared by sol-gel method. Hydrogen sulfide was successfully converted to the mixture of elemental sulfur and ammonium thiosulfate without any considerable sulfur dioxide emission. The active phase and redox behaviors of VOx catalysts supported on TiO2 were examined by using BET, XRD, XPS and temperature programmed techniques (TPR and TPO).
