제목 A novel organic D-π-A dye for enhancing the light harvesting in dye-sensitized solar cells
초록 Despite of high performance of ruthenium based sensitizer, it has limitations for commercialization. One of the problems arises from the use of ruthenium-based complexes as sensitizer in DSSC is their tricky purification steps and the scarcity of ruthenium metal. Furthermore, their low absorption characteristic at longer wavelength which is a major part of sunlight often limits the breakthrough of the performance of DSSC. These days organic dyes are researched to breakthrough these problems. We can easily tune the organic dye’s absorption range and its chemical properties. As a result of these efforts, many great results are reported. Recently, Grätzel group reported the novel porphyrin dyes which showed 12% efficiency. Here, we report novel -bridged organic sensitizer for efficient DSSC.
