Flexible organic thin film transistor using low temperature processable aromatic polyimide gate insulator on plastic substrate |
초록 |
Polyimides have been used for electronic industries owing to their good thermal stability, chemical resistance and excellent electrical insulating properties. However, polyimides have not been perfect candidates as gate insulators in organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) due to high processing temperature around 300 °C to convert polyamic acid (PAA) precursors into the polyimide films. In this study, we have developed fully aromatic polyimide film with processing temperature at about 160°C with high degree of imidization (more than 90%) in the presence of organic base catalyst. We successfully demonstrated flexible pentacene TFT on PES substrate using fully aromatic polyimide as a gate insulator. |
