제목 | SYNTHESIS OF SILICON NANOPARTICLE WITH TEOS BASED PRECUSSOR |
초록 | The world of electronics for some time now has been working hard to commercialize light weight and cost-effective electronic appliances and playing key roles in these appliances is the transistor. This has called the attention of scientists to research into producing thin film transistor alternatives for desired light weight devices. Silicon is the second most abundant element in the earth’s crust and can be cheaply synthesized. In this work, Silicon nanoparticles is synthesized by reducing SiO2 with Mg at a temperature of 620oC. SiO2 was synthesized via the sol-gel process by reacting the relatively cheap tetraethyl orthosilicate with ethanol and water in the presence NH3. Fig. 1a shows the XRD graph of the synthesized Silicon nanoparticle, Fig. 1b shows SEM image of the morphology of synthesized silicon nanoparticles and Fig. 1c shows the Rahman spectrum of the synthesized silicon nanoparticle. |
