제목 Study on impact of a compatibilizer for sPAES/PVDF/UAN composite membrane in vanadium redox flow battery
초록 Composite membranes are synthesized by sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (sPAES) / Poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVdF) / Urethane acrylate non-ionomer (UAN) for Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB). sPAES increases proton conductivity and PVdF decreases vanadium permeability. UAN as compatibilizer is added at low content. The morphology of composite membrane is examined by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The VRFB performance demonstrated that introduction of a compatibilizer improved energy efficiency. Therefore composite membrane can be useful for RFB application
