Evaluation of heparin coated liposomes for long circulation in bloodstream |
| 초록 |
Heparin coated liposomes containing doxorubicin (DOX) for cancer treatment has been developed to prolong the circulation time in vivo. Heparin has a strong anion charge and anticoagulant effect. It was well conjugated on the cationic liposome surface by ionic complex. The cationic liposomes was prepared by using dimethydioctadecylammoum (DDAB) having cationic head group. This study was to assess the circulation time of heparin coated liposomes into the bloodstream after intravenous injection in rat. The circulation time of heparin coated liposomes greatly improved the half-life while conventional liposomes a marginal improvement. |
