제목 Preparation and characterization of liposome doxorubicin-loaded liposomal coated with albumin
초록 Liposome are micro or nano vesicles that can be used as amphiphilic drug carrier. However, conventional liposomes plagued by rapid opsonization, resulting in their circulation time in bloodstream being shortened. In this study, to enhance the stability of liposomes in serum and prolong the circulation time in bloodstream, liposomes of which surface was modified with albumin were prepared. Amphiphilic liposomes were prepared in order to induce electrostatic interaction between liposome and albumin. Encapsulation of doxorubicin (DOX) to charged or uncharged liposomes were carried out by using remote loading method. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was coated on liposome surface at higher pH than pI of BSA. The presence of BSA on liposome surface was confirmed by measuring changes of particle size and zeta potential. Protein binding properties of BSA-coated liposomes were investigated plain or PEG-coated liposomes. Intracellular uptake were evaluated by FACS.
