제목 | Effect of manipulation of porosity on the bioactivity of PLCL scaffolds |
초록 | Extensive investigations have been directed for developing functional scaffolds as soft and hard tissue substitutes. Among various polymers, PLCL can be a good candidate for the preparation of 3D scaffold since it is biodegradable and biocompatible, and can be readily processed at low temperatures. In this study, we prepared 3D scaffolds with controlled porosity. The geometrical, mechanical, and chemical properties were characterized using SEM, EDS, and hydrophilicity. The biocompatibility of the PLCL scaffolds was confirmed via cell assays including proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast. We expect PLCL scaffolds can be further utilized as soft tissue substitutes.
