제목 Improved Power Conversion Efficiency of Organic Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells Base on Poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-Diphenyl-C62-bis(butyric acid methyl ester).
초록 We investigated bulk heterojunction solar cells based on a poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) as donor and derivatives of fullerene as acceptors. Their materials are [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) and [6,6]-Diphenyl-C62-bis(butyric acid methyl ester) (bis-PCBM). The bis-PCBM has a higher lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) than PCBM. As result, the open-circuit voltage (VOC) of the P3HT:bis-PCBM higher than P3HT:PCBM. The buffer layer between Active layer and ITO substrate, consisting of PEDOT:PSS (CLEVIOS PH), is modified by addition of 6wt% of glycerol. In addition, insertion of the TiOX layer between the Al electrode (aluminum) and active layer. TiOX is expected to perform as hole blocking layer and electron injection layer because TiOX has its LUMO level near the Fermi level of Al and a large band gap.
