제목 Synthesis of biomimetic β-tricalcium phosphate nano powders by electron beam
초록 In order to synthesize β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), a mixture of Ca(OH)2 and H3PO4 was exposed to an electron beam. The synthesized powder was spherical in shape and its average particle size was in the range of 50-80 nm in diameter. Synthesized powder’s microstructure and phase transformation were investigated using the SEM, TEM, FT-IR, ICP-MS and XRD techniques. In order to apply β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) as a biomaterial, its in-vitro compatibility was tested. The effects of the β-TCP nano powder on the proliferation and mineralization of human-like osteoblast cells were investigated using MTT, ALP assay.
