We have prepared chemically modified β-chitosan derivatives, which possess good solubility in many kind of polar solvent nd characteristic function, in order to promote the biological and chemical properties of such as like heparin compounds. Among others it could be mentioned their antibactericidal and metal chelating properties. In the present work a new phosphate derivatives of β-chitosan with potential growth regulator properties were obtained. The reaction was carried out in heterogeneous media using PCl3, H3PO4 and SOCl2, -PO3H as phosphate agent. All derivatives were characterized by several spectroscopic techniques. In IR, 13C-NMR and 1H-NMR spectra the appearance of functional group signal confirm its structure. |
