In this work, graphene nanosheets were successfully exfoliated by the intercalating polyethyleneimine. The graphene nanosheets were studied by X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. The textural properties of the graphene nanosheets were analyzed by using N2/77K and CO2/298K full isotherms at 1 atm. As a result, the chemical modification of the graphite oxide nanosheets led to produce highly stable graphenes. When the graphene nanosheets was tested for CO2 adsorption after polyethyleneimine impregnation, the higher CO2 adsorption capacity of polyethyleneimine-impregnated graphene nanosheets was achieved than that of pristine graphene nanosheets under the same test conditions. |
