In this work, we prepared nitrogen-doped porous carbon materials using commercially available zeolite 13X as a template. The nitrogen-doped microporous carbon materials were obtained by thermal condensation of cyanamide in the pore of zeolite 13X at different temperature. The textural and chemical properties of nitrogen-doped microporous carbon materials were analyzed by using N2/77K isotherms, XRD, TEM, TGA, and EA. After removed the template, the specific surface area of the zeolite 13X templated carbons also retained zeolite-like structural ordering. And, the specific surface area and total pore volume of prepared carbons increased with the increase of carbonization temperature. |
