In this work, the porous carbons were directly prepared from an ion exchange resin by the carbonization of a mixture with MgO at different temperature. And then, the porous carbons were activated with NaOH. The effect of the carbonization temperature and NaOH activation on the pore structure of the obtained porous carbons was studied. The textural properties of porous carbons were analyzed by using N2/77K isotherms, XRD, SEM, and TEM. After activated with NaOH, the specific surface area, total pore volume, and micro/mesopore volume of the porous carbons increased with the increase of carbonization temperature. |
