제목 Synthesis and Optical Property of Bis(heteroarylamino)anthraquinone Derivatives for Color Filter Pigment
초록 Development of dyes and pigments is extending in their potential of being applied as the core material of color filter (CF) that implements full color spectrum of liquid crystal display (LCD). The role of dyes and pigments in CF is that it implements full color spectrum by respectively reflecting or absorbing light of particular wavelength when white-backlight is injected to CF. Therefore, since light of desired wavelength should be penetrated massively and light of the rest wavelength be filtered to maximum extent, the optical property required of pigments should have high molar extinction coefficient on the wavelength that requires absorption. We have first synthesized bis(heteroarylamino)anthraquinone derivatives, 1,4-BPAQ, 1,5-BPAQ, and 1,8-BPAQ. UV-visible absorption maximum values of 1.4-BPAQ, 1. 5-BPAQ and 1, 8-BPAQ were 585, 515 and 525 nm, respectively.
