제목 Improving Ablation Resistance of Phenolic Resin by Adding CNT Reinforcement
초록 High ablation resistant phenolic composites were fabricated by the addition of carbon nanotubes (CNT). The processing, microstructure and ablative properties of CNT-phenolic composites with different bulk density were investigated. The thermal properties and the ablative response of the composites were studied through the burning morphology and temperature measurement. CNT-phenolic composites exhibited much higher ablation resistance compared to conventional phenolic resin under same conditions. The better ablation propertiy was observed as higher concentration of CNT. Microstructure studies reveal that CNT fillers worked as ablation resistant phase.
