제목 THE EFFECTS OF NON-POLYMERIC AND POLYMERIC DISPERSANT AGENTS INTO SUSPENSIONS STABILITY AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE 3Y-TZP SINTERED BODY.
초록 To obtaining a stable slurry which it was characterized by the particle size measurement, rheological properties, zeta potential, and sedimentation rate has been done. In this study, the 3Y-TZP suspension was prepared with the addition of non-polymeric and polymeric dispersant agent (Diammonium citrate and Ammonium polyacrylate). The amount of the dispersant agent was varied to obtain the optimum concentration of the dispersant addition. Once the slurry was prepared, a water-soluble Polyvinylpyrrolidone was added to influence the flow behavior by a slow stirrer. The addition of PVP was altered the suspension rheological properties significantly. Furthermore, the slurry was used to prepare the 3Y-TZP pellets by dry pressing processing and sintering in 1400C for two hours. Pellets were characterized by Hardness measurement, density (Archimedes’ principle) and also the Surface morphology was done by SEM. Both of Diammonium Citrate and Ammonium Polyacrylate was stabilized the 3Y-TZP suspension by electrosteric and steric stabilization, respectively. However, both dispersant agents give the different effects on the properties of the final sintered body of the ceramics pellets.
