Evaluation of the biocompatibility of 3D porous scaffolds fabricated using naturally derived polymers |
초록 |
Advances in modern biomedical and science fields rapidly increased human life expectancy. Subsequently, the size of the elderly population is growing. In general, most of the elderly suffers from various types of illnesses and the bone-related disease is one of the most serious problems that deteriorates their quality of life. Tissue engineering is a newly emerging field that can provide technical solutions for damaged tissues due to aging or accidents. In this study, we developed two dimensional film using naturally derived polymers, chitosan for example, and examined the feasibility of film as tissue substitutes. on the outcome of film cell adhesion. we developed porous three dimensional scaffolds. Physical and biological properties were evaluated using analytical techniques and cellular assays. |
