제목 Efficient ZnO-free Organic Solar cells using 2,6-pyridinedimethanol as the cathode buffer layer
초록 To accomplish a efficient ZnO-free organic solar cells (OSCs), a 2,6-pyridinedimethanol (Py-diOH) is introduced to the cathode interlayer in OSCs based on a bulk heterojunction (BHJ) with blend of PTB7:PC71BM. A layer of Py-diOH modifies an energy level of indium tin oxide (ITO) appropriately owing to generating a favorable interface dipole at the cathode interface. The power conversion efficiency of the devices with the interlayer reaches up to 7.44% which is very similar to that of the device with ZnO as the electron transfer layer. It is possible to obtain high efficiency PSCs without any high temperature heat treatment.
