제목 Enhanced device performance of pentacene thin film transistor with PEDOT:PSS hole injection layer.
초록 We employed poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesufonate) (PEDOT:PSS) hole injection layer (HIL) on gold electrodes in order to reduce contact resistance in pentacene organic field effect transistor (OFET). By applying the PEDOT:PSS HIL, crystallinity of pentacene on gold electrode is increased and the hole injection barrier between pentacene and electrode is reduced from 0.85 eV to 0.14 eV. The increased crystallinity and reduced hole injection barrier resulted in drastic reduction of contact resistance in pentacene OFET, extracted by four probe measurement, leading to improve the field effect mobility of OFET from 0.031 to 0.218 cm2 /Vs.
