제목 Synthesis and analysis of pyrrolinium type ionic liquids as electrolytes for lithium ion battery application
초록 Ionic liquids (ILs) have attracted wide research interests in various applications including electrolytes for a lithium ion battery (LIB) because of their high decomposition temperature and non-volatile property. The current LIBs using flammable electrolytes have suffered from firing or explosion of devices. In this regard, we synthesized highly ion conductive but strongly flame retardant ILs which have pyrrolinium based cation due to apply in LIBs as electrolytes. Herein, we choose the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4, LFP) with olivine structure as a cathode candidate because of their cost efficiency and broad electrochemical stability. The characteristics of the ILs are analyzed via NMR, impedance spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). Furthermore, the functionalization of pyrrolinium based ILs have been researched in organic chemistry and electrochemistry under the Li/LFP coin cell system.
