제목 Properties of HTPB-based polyurethane elastomers
초록 applications as coatings, binder resins, fibers, and high-performance elastomeric products. These polymers are distinguished by excellent mechanical properties and by quite a wide spectrum of properties, depending upon the nature of the starting materials. Numerous hydroxyl-terminated polymers, such as polyesters or polyethers, were used to synthesize PUs. Hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) is a polyol that has been often used for the synthesis of PUs networks. In this study, a polyurethane elastomer was developed using hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) and diisocyanates. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and unversial testing machine (UTM) were used in this study.
