Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene-sulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS), well known for its high electrical conductivity and solution processability has been used for diverse optoelectronic devices, such as photovoltaic cells. When used for optoelectronic devices, the acidic nature of PEDOT:PSS corrodes transparent conductive oxides. Also, the core-shell structure of PEDOT:PSS reduces the electrical conductivity, which is one of the most important factors when used as conductive interlayers. Single-crystalline graphene nanoplatelets has been well-recognized for its excellent electronic properties. We prepared PEDOT:PSS/graphene composite films to improve the electrical conductivity, and reduce the corrosion when used on transparent conductive oxides. Graphene nanoplatelets were synthesized via a bottom-up, one-pot solution method using glucose as a carbon source, and the size of graphene nanoplatelets were controlled by tuning the reaction parameters and type of alipathic amine. |
