People are highly interested in skin aesthetics and welfare. Accordingly, there is an strong demands to develop technologies for regeneration and restoration of skin tissue damaged by aging, environmental pollution, and trauma. In addition, it is also desired to enhance local restoration activity without systemic side-effects. In this study, we investigated whether the prepared microspheres can be used as local administration of drugs in a controlled manner. The shape of microspheres was observed using SEM and chemical state was analyzed using FTIR. The drug release rate from the microsphere was evaluated using HPLC. The effect of drug release pattern was characterized based on cell assays. |
