제목 Development of drug-loaded chitosan-protein composite microspheres for bone regeneration
초록 With the development of life science, the lifespan has been greatly extended. However, the quality of life has been greatly deteriorated due to diseases related to bone tissue degraded. Accordingly, researches on the development of a bone replacement is being actively conducted. In addition, there is a need for an alternative to improve the biological functionality of bone grafts. The aim of this study is to develop a controlled drug release system by manufacturing microspheres composed of chitosan and protein composite. The effects of microsphere composition on drug delivery patterns and cell activity were evalued using SEM, HPLC, and cell proliferation assays. It is expected that this technology could potentially be used for the development of a controlled drug delivery system.
