Spiro[7H-benz[de]anthracene-7,9'-[9H]fluorene] Based Host Materials for Red Phosphorescent OLEDs |

We report on the synthesis and characterization of a new series of Spiro[7H-benz[de]anthracene-7,9'-[9H]fluorene] based compounds. The derivatives are highly thermally stable materials as demonstrated by thermogravimetric analysis. Spectroscopic properties of the Spiro[7H-benz[de]anthracene-7,9'-[9H]fluorene] based derivatives were determined by absorption and photoluminescence measurements. All the developed materials were used as hosts in red phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes and their properties were compared with CBP that is commercially available host material. |
