Biocompatible Poly(ε-caprolactone)-block-Poly-(2-methacryloyloxyethylphosphorylcholine) copolymers synthesized by RAFT Technique |
초록 |
Well-defined biocompatible PCL-b-PMPC diblock copolymers were synthesized by ROP and RAFT polymerization. The physio-chemical properties of the copolymers were characterized by 1H-NMR, GPC and DSC. Self-assembly of the amphiphilic copolymers was studied by TEM and DLS, which revealed that bioactive ingredient can be encapsulated by regularly spherical micelles of PCL-b-PMPC. The emulsifying ability of the copolymers was also investigated in terms of the chain length and the HLB. The PCL-b-PMPC copolymers could have important applications in the development of improved drug carriers and in the biomimetic surfactants for cosmetics. |
