제목 Application of mesoporous carbon materials on ethylene adsorption
초록 Many vegetables, fruits and flowers are sensitive to ethylene gas. Ripening of fruits was caused by ethylene. In our experiment, we have synthesized new carbon materials using nano silica templates and its metal salts were used as adsorbent for ethylene adsorption. The ethylene adsorption capacity of carbon materials impregnated with Cu(II), Ni(II) and KMnO4 were determined by gas chromatography. Mesoporous carbon structures have shown excellent adsorption of ethylene using selected metal salts. The adsorbents were well fully characterized by various analytical methods.
