제목 | Analysis of Alendronate in Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms by Ion Chromatography with Conductivity |
초록 | Alendronate is the monosodium trihydrate salt of 4-amino-1-hydroxybutane-1,1-bisphosphonate acid and belongs to the bisphosphonate class of drugs. The drug has important therapeutic indications in the treatment of a variety of bone diseases such as hypercalcemia of malignancy, Paget's disease and osteoporosis. But this drug has no chromophore for conventional UV or fluorsence detection, hence it's analysis needs chemical derivatization procedures when UV or fluorscence detection is applied. The aim of this study was to obviate the need for tagging procedure for the that are required when UV or fluorscence detection is used and to quantitively analyze of alendronate tablet which has effect in osteoporosis.
