Nanoscale electrocatalyst design for hydrogen evolution reaction |
초록 |
There is growing interest in renewable energy sources due to energy crisis and environment pollution. One of the most important issues in renewable energy is the hydrogen economy. The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is the promising for hydrogen production with low cost and high efficiency. Platinum is one of the best materials for HER, but due to the limited Pt resources and high cost, many efforts have been conducted to replace Pt with cheaper materials. We will discuss recently developed metal sulfide nanoparticles such as MoS2 and NixSy. Materials design strategy based on the DFT analysis and electrochemical analysis will be discussed with HER mechanisms. |
