제목 Acoustic Properties of Flame Retarding PP foams cross-linked by EB irradiation
초록 Polymeric foams with gradient cell size were developed by e-beam irradiation from polymeric blends based on PP/w-PE/PEgMA. The foams were designed for a sound absorbing/proofing materials. The multi-functional polymeric foams were prepared by the irradiation of a low energy e-beam(1Mev) followed by a high energy beam(10 Mev, 30kGy) to get a gradient cross-link for the foams. A combined reaction of chemical cross-linking/low energy irradiation also was conducted for the formation of gradient cell structure of the foams. The morphology and cell structure of the foams composed of the PP/w-PE/PEgMA (30/50/20 and 40/40/20 in composition) were controlled by the amount of blowing agent, cross-linking method and/or e-beam energy irradiated.
