Comb-like polymer blends of poly(oxyethylene)s with CH3-terminated and CF3-terminated alkylsulfonylmethyl side chains |
| 초록 |
The surface property and morphology of the blends of comb-like polymers containing surface oriented side chains such as poly(oxyethylene) derivatives with CH3-terminated and CF3-terminated alkylsulfonylmethyl side chains were studied. The CH3-terminated and CF3-terminated alkylsulfonylmethyl side chains of the polymers in the blends were found to be well oriented on the surface, while these side chains are phase separated forming various surfaces morphologies because of the immiscibility of the side chains with different polarity. The surface properties are identical with those of poly(oxyethylene) with CF3-terminated side chains when the content of poly(oxyethylene) with CF3-terminated side chains in the blend is larger than 40 mol%. |
