Poly(2-ethynylpyridinium)-Based Polyacetylene Polyelectrolyte with N-Butynyl Substituents |
초록 |
Amphoteric polyelectrolytes contain both cationic and anionic groups. Poly(aromatic heterocycle)s such as polyanilines and polythiophenes have been used as conducting coating materials. Here, a polyacetylene polyelectrolyte was prepared by the quaternization polymerization of ethynylpyridines by using 3-butynyl-p-toluenesulfonate and 4-bromo-1-butyne. The structure of the resulting polyelectrolytes was characterized by such instrumental methods as IR, NMR, and UV-visible spectroscopies to have the conjugated polymer backbone with the designed butynyl substituents. The electro-optical and electrochemical properties of polyacetylene polyelectrolytes were measured and discussed. |
