제목 Hydrogen Storage Capacity of Nickel/Carbon Aerogel Hybrid Materials
초록 In this work, we have prepared nickel/carbon aerogel hybrid materials (Ni/CAs) for efficient hydrogen storage. The Ni/CAs samples were prepared by impregnation of metal nanoparticles on carbon aerogels. The structural and morphological properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The pore structure and specific surface area were investigated by N2/ 77 K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The hydrogen storage capacities were evaluated by a volumetric measurement at 298 K/ 100 bar. It was found that the presence of Ni on carbon aerogels created hydrogen-favorable sites which can lead to an efficient hydrogen storage capacities.
