Cellulose derivatives for applications to surface layer of silicon hydrogel soft lenses |
초록 |
Water content is an important feature of the various plastics used to make soft contact lenses. Higher water content lenses are potentially beneficial because more water means more oxygen to the eye, i.e., high water content lenses allow more oxygen into the eye and more release of carbon dioxide because the water serves as a vehicle for the gases. In this study, we investigated water content of various cellulose derivatives to apply to a surface coating layer of silicon hydrogel soft lenses. |
