Hybrid nanoparticles (NPs) of P3HT/PCBM [Poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) / phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM)] were made by mini-emulsion method. Through SEM, TEM and AFM images, the surface morphology of P3HT/PCBM hybrid NPs was invesgated. The radius of P3HT/PCBM hybrid NPs was 25~50 nm. Structural and optical characteristics of the hybrid NPs were investigated through micro Raman, and UV/Vis absorbance spectra. The nanoscale photoluminescence (PL) characteristics of the P3HT/PCBM hybrid NPs depending on thermal treatment were studied by using a laser confocal microscope (LCM). For optoelectrical properties, conducting-AFM with LCM were used. We fabricated photovoltaic cells by using the P3HT/PCBM hybrid NPs, and reported photovoltaic characteriscs. |
