In this research, It was performed an in-depth study to find out co-combustion characteristics so that it was considered a possibility to utilize RDF as an auxiliary fuel through examining separately the combustion specificity of sewage sludge and RDF. The study of the combustion characteristics proceeded with these data as follows: the heat characteristics were obtained by the analysis of TGA and DTP; the heating value by the measurement of bomb calorimeter; the basic data by the analysis of three-component complex and elements; the temperature in combustor and the duration of remaining in combustor were put as variables. The temperature of the combustor was 100℃ spacing ranged from 400℃ to 800℃ in a consecutive manner. The duration of remaining in the combustor was 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 minutes. The flow rate of a fluent air was provided excessive oxygen 300㎖/min given the capacity of a reactor. The quantity of each sample was fixed as 10g. GC analysis was performed by trapping exhaust fumes through a gas collector.
