In this work chitosan microspheres were prepared by an emulsion-phase separation technique. And then, chitosan microspheres were coated with poly (N-isoproplyacrylamide-co-methacrylic acid) (P(NIPAM-co-MAA)).The release property of microspheres was observed in different pH and temperature . Due to strong electrostatic interaction between chitosan and P(NIPAM-co-MAA) in acidic conditions, chitosan microsphres have compact structure. At acidic conditions, the release of chitosan microsphrers was suppressed. In above LCST, the release was enhanced due to the thermal contraction of the P(NIPAM-co-MAA). |
