Synthesis of poly(ethylene oxide) -b- polystyrene via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of styrene using PEO-based macroinitiator |
초록 |
Poly(ethylene oxide)-based macroinitiator for ATRP(atom transfer radical polymerization) was synthesized in a mixture of benzene, dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO), and tetrahydrofuran(THF) at 30℃ via anionic living ring-opening polymerization of ethylene oxide, using potassium n-butyllithium and potassium tert-butoxide as an initiating system under high vacuum, followed by chain end bromination. The functionalization yield was over 95 mol%. PEO -b- PS was synthesized in toluene at 80℃ using the PEO-based macroinitiator, Cu(Ι)Br and Me6TREN via ATRP of styrene. In this presentation, we will report all the results for these experiments. |
