Alkali sensitive coatings prepared by emulsion polymerizations using acrylic monomers such as styrene, ethyl acrylate and methylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid was especially used as functional monomer. Also, ammonium persulpahte(APS) as an initiator was used. In this study, The polymeric emulsifier used was anionic surfactant such as sodium salt, dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS), while alkali soluble resin has been chosen as a model surfactant. The properties of coating were investigated by particle size analyzer, TEM, DSC and FT-IR. |
